The Process

I am intensely interested in the journey you are sharing with your dog — for I too have walked through life with dogs. Our journeys have included joy, excitement, pain, uncertainty, fear, relief, resolve, sacrifice and comfort — but most of all, friendship.

My goal as your photographer is to step for a short period of time into your journey, understand it and memorialize it with beautiful and enduring artwork.

I do not want to capture an image of your dog the way I see your dog, but the way you see your dog. That is the most important thing to me.

This process starts with a phone call, in which I will learn more about you and your dog, where you have been, what you have been through, and why your relationship is so important to you.

We also will discuss your photographic needs, potential shooting locations, pricing and everything else that will play a part in the segment of your journey that I get to participate in. If what I provide aligns with your needs, we will schedule a shoot date and proceed along our trajectory.

After the shoot, I will organize the photos from your shoot and contact you to set up a meeting review your images. During that meeting, I will guide you through choosing the images that will comprise your personal collection and help you understand how best to display them in your home.

When I’ve finished creating the artwork for your collection, I will deliver it personally and ensure that you are 100% satisfied with it.

I can’t wait to start this process with you.
